Tamale Pie

Ingredients, Recipe & Directions
3/4 c corn meal
1 c milk
1 pound ground beef
1 med onion, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1 clove garlic, minced
2 - 8 oz cans tomato sauce
1 tbsp. Chili Powder
1- 15 oz can black olives, chopped
1 15 oz cream corn
1-2 cups grated Cheese

Mix corn meal and milk. Stir. Set aside and soak.
Brown ground beef, onion, salt and minced garlic.
Drain grease.
Mix in tomato sauce, chili powder, chopped black olives, cream corn.
Stir in corn meal and milk.
Pour into ungreased 9 X 14 cake pan.
Bake at 375 for 45 minutes.
Remove from oven.
Sprinkle with cheese and put in oven until melted.
Can be garnished with salsa and sour cream.

Serves 8 - 10 people.
